For many years I have practised both as a spiritual healer and a philosophical counsellor. Opening up to a higher awareness has led me towards helping others to understand their own inner-selves by examining their basic assumptions or concepts around which their ‘world’ or ‘reality’ is constructed. concept of worthlessness; instead of the experience of separation the concept of separation. In addition to my studies in Advaita Vedanta philosophy I have also been awarded the AQA Advanced Certificate in Counselling.
One-to-one counselling offers a safe environment where you can talk about and explore aspects of your life which are causing you concern and help you understand and challenge your patterns of behaviour which maybe cause problems.
Counselling often helps people who are suffering with stress, anger, anxiety, depression or relationship problems; some requiring longer-term counselling, others shorter-term.
If you would like to explore the possibilities please feel free to call me on 0772 631 9449 or e-mail me directly at Cognise@yoga-practice.net and I will be happy to discuss your situation. |

“ I sensed Turiya’s sincere desire to help, as if he was trying to take away the pain and heal the dark holes in the intricate web of my life….. There was so much I wanted to share; all the things I have been working on in my life; everything all of a sudden came flooding out inexplicably and compellingly. I became aware that he was trying to make out the issues in my life – or “distractions” (in Pascal’s sense) - to enable me to release them, if I so wished to. As I bared my soul to this almost complete stranger, an incessant inner voice at the back of my head kept asking me why anyone would be so genuinely interested in my existential problems. I guess because this is what I needed the most, someone who would sit and listen as I opened my heart.” ~ Sabine from Yoga Magazine |
